Midwest Landscape

Another aerial photograph of my trip out west to Nevada this one showing a large winding river weaving its way through the cloud shadowed landscape made of mountains and valleys filled with rich colored soils, the storm clouds in the background gives it a powerful yet moving feel while the terrain with all its layers and textures fills the frame adding to its composition.

This was photographed with 35mm film and Pentax camera in 1997 somewhere over the mid western states.

Many thanks Stacy and thank you for stopping by and commenting. If I didn't fear flying anymore I would love to go up again and take some more shots.

The colors in this are amazing.

Thank you Pam I really appreciate it.
It was a very fortunate shot considering that I was traveling at about 600 mph. :)

Thank you kalos_eidos for the kind comment, I understand completely, these few shots that I have of this trip were my last for aerial captures not unless of course I tie a camera to a balloon in the future. :)

Thank you C Bowie I really appreciate it, I have a few more but they have been somewhat damaged over the years so as soon as I can do some repair work on them in Photoshop I'll post them.
