Touching the Clouds

Montana has some of the most beautifulest and diverse mountains in the US depending on what part of the state you happened to be visiting and your eyes will never get bored because there is just so much to see.

In this photograph I was able capture the moving cloud as it appeared to touch the mountain while it slowly passed over.
The pattern of the pine trees and formation of the rocky terrain leads the eyes naturally up like a stairwell from the bottom of the image to the cloud and blue sky above, it's no wonder why they named Montana "The Big Sky Country".

Photographed with 35mm film.

You always take the most beautiful shots.
That would make a very nice postage stamp.

The cloud makes the shot.

absolutely, without the cloud it would very dull and not worth printing nor publishing.
