While at the North Carolina Zoo I caught this primate couple taking some time and admiring the crowd one being more outspoken then the other. The natural surroundings of the park gives you a sense of being in the wilds of the world while in the comfort of the Carolina's.
The park lays nestled in Randolph County in the heart of the state atop of Purgatory Mountain which is part of the Uwharrie Mount Range and at 1,458 acres makes it the largest walk through natural habitat zoo in the US and perhaps the continent.
Located near the High Point / Greensboro area.
Photographed with 35mm film in 1988.
