Georgia Farmhouse

On my drive home to Florida from my visit to the mountains of Georgia and North Carolina in the autumn of 1996 I made a detour off the highway and took the back roads to see Andersonville where the confederacy had their prison camp during the civil war and made famous by the HBO movie by the same name. The area untouched by time and its surrounding landscape had a great recipe for capturing images, this particular shot was taken with a 35mm Pentax camera and Inferred B/W film which intensified the mood I wanted to convey.
